Mr. Snowy Owl, Needle Felted Bird Sculpture 12 Inches

Male snowy owls when younger start off barred with dark brown & get whiter as they get older. Some older males can be almost pure white!! My snowy owl is one of the middle aged males & is needle felted, a time consuming process in which wool roving is poked repeatedly with a barbed needle until the desired shape is formed. Great care has been taken to accurately depict his color & markings. He stands on sturdy wire feet which has been felted, has glass black eyes & is approximately 12 inches in length, which is about half the size of a real Snowy Owl, which can vary in length from 20 inches to almost 28 inches. This owl takes many days to make & I usually ship with 2-4 weeks, but it depends on how many orders I have. Allow more time especially during busy holidays or with multiple orders.
