Handmade Lamp in Natural Wood & Japanese Paper. Scream

Dimensions : 7,5 inch x 10,6 inch Pine Table lamp, completely handmade by cutting & assembling various size of wooden strips. The lamp is a tribute to the horror cult film Scream, directed by the master Wes Craven. The print depicts the Halloween Ghostface mask used by the serial killer to conceal his identity & terrorize his victims, & inspired by the famous Edvard Munch painting The Scream. To obtain a worn effect, I used the classic pickled technique during the painting phase. The used materials are of natural origin & the entire hand made manufacturing process was carried out in respect of the Environment. I used the natural wood for the construction of the frame, & the traditional Japanese Washi paper for the creation of the lampshade.
