The 2016 Robots Collection is preceded by the original run of Mr. Nuts & Bolts Robots, handcrafted by artist Brian McDowell between 2008 & 2010, & numbering less than fifty robots. Each robot figure is different from the others & has unique features, construction, & personality. Some of the other robots for sale here on RobotShack are from the original run. All Mr. Nuts & Bolts Robots possess the blank stare & boxy shape of many classic film & toy robots of the mid-20th century. Mr. Nuts & Bolts Robots are 8 - to 9-inch tall figures constructed of translucent colored plastic & metal. Handcrafted in the USA, they lend a commanding robotic presence to home or office. Mr. Nuts & Bolts Robots are not toys, but they are great conversation pieces, unique collectibles, & decorative figures, all in one. Their arms can be moved & posed, but the robots are otherwise stationary; no batteries required (except for certain robots with flashing eyes or radar dishes).
