Azure Peshtemal products are machine washable on cold water & can be dried on low heat. It is recommended to soak your peshtemals before the first wash. Soak in cold water for about 2-4 hours. Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, dryer sheets or high heat. It is best to allow to air dry. Peshtemals will become better with use & some need to be broken in by washing & drying them in a dryer on a low setting a few times. This will add to a softer & absorbent towel. Expect a small amount of shrinkage if you dry in high heat as the product is hand-loomed. For stubborn stains make a paste with baking soda & vinegar to naturally spot clean.
