About the Design: We are proud Egyptians & our items reflect the core of the Egyptian culture. The Pottery-based lamp's design was inspired by the Egyptian Nubian culture. The tiny delicate patterns & carvings on it tell a story of the place & communicates its deep values. The Making: The pottery-based lamp is made from Egyptian clay by forming the clay ceramic body into the required shape. The clay body is then heated to high temperatures in a kiln which removes all the water from the clay. This induces reactions that lead to permanent changes like increasing their strength, hardening the clay & the setting of their shape. Later, color & decoration is added by our skilled craftsmen in the field of pottery-making to add the final touches.
