Plesiosaurus Skeleton 2M Steel Sculpture

This sculpture is based on museum pieces of the Plesiosaurus, a marine Dinosaur from the early Jurassic period which many believe the Loch Ness monster to be a descendant of. This listing is for a 2 meter long version of the small indoor model we also sell, this will be made to order. The body is made from multiple pieces of sheet mild steel of various thicknesses hand bent, filed, sanded & hammered into shape then welded together. Welding along the spine in particular has been left exposed to give a more accurate representation of bone. This version has been made from Mild Steel, chemically rusted then varnished to look like Museum Exhibits. This version can be supplied with a basic clamp on pole bracket that can be set in concrete, it is also suitable for hanging by wire where appropriate. This can be reproduced in other metals such as Stainless Steel with wax / lacquered or painted finishes. We have also made this in 1 meter & 3 meter versions for indoor & outdoors & for wall mounting. This item would normally take 3-4 weeks to make from order.
