It was modeled after a particular chocolate lab named Coco who belongs to a very loving family of yoga enthusiasts, one of whom is the founder of a wonderful yoga studio in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Coco is on her mat with a bowl of water & a towel (since the practice his parents enjoy is rigorous & heated), doing upward facing dog pose. Dogs look especially adorable in this pose since it was named after a position they so commonly (and comically) love to take!
