A one-of-a-kind round ottoman handcrafted from a beautiful piece of vintage hill tribe textile, featuring intricate embroidery against a predominantly dark black background. The character & detail of the original fabric are retained, creating a distinctive textile ottoman that works beautifully as a floor pouf, low footstool or decorative floor cushion. Each piece is handmade here in Northern Thailand using individually sourced vintage textiles, so no two ottomans are quite the same. HANDCRAFTED ROUND FLOOR POUF The vintage textile forms the outer sections of the ottoman, finished with piped edging to help maintain its round shape. A concealed zip allows the cover to be removed. Choose between: Cover Only - supplied unfilled, ready to stuff with your preferred filling. With Kapok Insert - supplied with a handmade inner cushion generously filled with natural Thai kapok. NATURAL THAI KAPOK FILLING Our filled option uses natural kapok, a traditional plant-based fibre widely used for cushions & mattresses throughout Thailand. Kapok creates a firm but comfortable pouf with a wonderfully organic feel & can be reshaped & plumped as required. The insert can be removed through the zipped opening.
