The Decortie Jaden is a console sideboard 150 cm wide and 81.2 cm high on a 40 cm depth, arranged with three drawers down the centre and a cupboard on each side. The drawers take the small items that need to be found quickly, while both cupboards close over a two tier compartment each, giving four shelves of hidden storage across the unit. The fronts stay completely flat: each drawer is opened by a small notch cut into the panel and finished in a contrasting Whiskey Oak tone, so there is no handle to catch a sleeve in a hallway. Both doors close softly. The body sits on tapered metal legs finished to match the Sandstone carcass, which lifts it off the floor and keeps the piece from reading as a solid block. Built from 18 mm particleboard in a matte finish, cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
