Traditional Analogue Metal Quartz Movement / Crystal Tabletop Clock in Clear/Brown

This quartz-controlled skeleton movement with astronomical indicators, in addition to hour and minute display, has an astrolabe on top. The sun, moon and Earth are moved by the clockwork movement around the wheelwork gear above in their daily, monthly (moon around the Earth) and annual revolution (Earth around the sun) in naturalistic timing. The date and month positions are displayed as a zodiac sign in the upper display area on a decorative image scale of the horizontal clock adjuster. The clock reproduces the annual orbit of the Earth around the sun in one year, while the Earth rotates once around itself every 24 hours. The moon orbits the Earth once every 29 1/2 days and turns once on its axis, which from Earth we see as the individual phases of the moon. The Earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and days, which can be read on a flat, cylindrical dial. The timings are shown in real time but the geometrical dimensions are not.
