In the bold contemporary print, artist Jacky Al-Samarraie has used her unique eye to present London's landmarks in a truly eye-catching manner. Featuring a black and white image contrasted against a teal hued Thames, the print showcases the beautiful London city skyline. The print is presented in a beautiful scored mount, emphasising the texture of the image within, and is in a decorative MDF wrapped frame that has a contemporary black grained wood finish. Jacky Al-Samarraie uses uncomplicated images and adds graphic bright blocks of colour to create an eye-catching design. She developed this style during her degree and created The Art Room company in 2007. Al-Samarraie didn't start life as an artist. She originally pursued a career in Social Services. It wasn't until her children grew up that she went back to develop her creative skills; receiving a first honours degree in Graphic Media Communication from Bradford College of Art Design & Textiles.
