Daniel Bland is an artist and specialist decorator based in Cambridgeshire. He travels all over the UK for residential and commercial commissions working with a range of luxury materials and design styles.
His most recent commercial commission was to design three unique rooms in Seckford Hotel and Spa, Woodbridge.
The whole scheme is based around respecting heritage design while a playful/contemporary element to avoid it feeling like a time capsule.

The Living Room
In the living room, Daniel installed orac coving and ceiling rose to add a period feature back to the space and give some attention to the high ceiling and the chandelier. The stunning wallpaper is from his own collection and is called Acanthus Column Gold Mica.
The Bedroom
In the bedroom, Daniel used wood beading fixed about 6 inches up from the plain skirting board and then painted the whole section gloss black to give the effect of a much larger skirting board. The beautiful copper wallpaper is from his own collection and is called Opulence Copper.
