Decorative Oak Block Lamp with LED Bulb & Old Rope Cable. Made to order in our in Derbyshire workshop, these lamps are made from solid English Oak & finished with a hard wearing semi-matt oil to bring out the natural character of the wood. Each lamp is a one off as no two blocks are the same, & we take our time to pick out the best blocks (Please note: character blocks have some splits & knots. Pictures are to illustrate the lamps only, & blocks may vary. We will however send you a picture of your block/blocks before we machine them). Each lamp is finished to the highest standard & can be used with either a LED bulb or a 40W filament bulb with an E27 fitting. The lamps come with 2 meters of 3 core Old Rope cable & a fairy light style LED bulb. All are earthed to ensure that the lamps are safe, & fitted with a double pole switch as an extra precaution. The lamps are also fitted with a 3-amp fuse as standard & as one final measure we conceal all of our wiring behind a matching oak base plate. All of the lamps that we produce are wired by a competent electrician, PAT tested & CE marked to conform with European standards. We take extra care when packing our lamps, however if on the rare occasion you receive a damaged item i.e. broken bulb please document the packing etc & drop us a message. If using a filament bulb, ensure that the lamp is kept away from curtains & fabrics etc. in all instances the Lamps should be placed on solid, flat surface to ensure that they don't tip over.
