Unusual, Dark Red & Gold Art Nouveau Arts & Crafts Boudoir Burlesque Steampunk Wall Mirror 78 cm long. Hand made from a beveled furniture grade ply base coated in newspaper paper mache then painted with a dark red translucent paint (so a little of the newspaper print shows through in places). It is then decorated with a sinuous spiral vine pattern made from gold painted jute string & black ceramic beads Finished in a very durable clear coating.
