For Morris, tapestry was the highest form of decorative art. Inspired in part by J. H. Dearles The Brook Tapestry, & the friezes that sit beneath the Holy Grail Tapestries, The Brook has been newly created by Alison Gee. Digital printing recreates all the crispness & abundance of beautiful detail, which was the special characteristic of medieval tapestries. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength & there is a concealed zip on the reverse beneath the piping for ease of opening. DRY CLEAN ONLY.
