CHOOSING YOUR PERFECT PINS Size - First choose your size. Standard table heights are 28 inches while standard seats are 16 inches. Cabinets range from 4 inches to 14 depending on the design. Coffee tables are from around 10 inches to 14 inches. We also make counter top height legs at 34 inches & bar height at 40 inches. Measure up your project before purchasing & feel free to contact us for any additional advice. Style - We make a 2 rod or 3 rod leg. Basically the 3 rod is much stronger so if your project is going to end up heavy or be subjected to a lot of weight these are the legs to get. As a rule of thumb all legs from 4 inches to 16 inches will generally be strong enough up to around 200kg in either the 2 rod of 3 rod designs. Table height legs & above should be using 3 rod at any weights above 15 - 20kg. Finish - Bare steel is 100% natural & raw. It looks great but will rust over time. All our protective coatings whether clear, black or something a bit more vibrant are a tough powder coat. This paint is baked onto the steel & will protect from rust over the life of the legs.
