Rustic Desk, with Retractable Keyboard Shelf & Steel Hairpin Legs DESCRIPTION These beautiful rustic desks have been handcrafted by myself. The surface has been fashioned out of reclaimed wood. Each tabletop has been sanded to a smooth finish, before being coated in your chosen colour (Multiple finishes available. See photos). The table top is accompanied by a retractable keyboard shelf. Finally the desk is supported by raw steel legs. These legs are incredibly strong & provide a nice finishing touch to an already beautiful desk. The desks surface comes complete with scrapes, knots, indentations & discolourations, which all help to tell the story of its previous life. These imperfections add to the character of the table, which helps to make it totally unique. NOTE - The item in the photo may not be the exact item you receive. It'll be made to your chosen dimensions, however, due to each boards wood grain being totally unique, the table top itself will vary slightly. Please bare this in mind when placing your order. Everything I make is handmade, so every piece is truly unique. Special care is taken in the preparation & overall look of the finished product. KEYBOARD SHELF The keyboard shelf is coated in the same finish as the rest of the desktop. The keyboard shelf is able to be slid out of sight, under the table. The shelf pulls out roughly 27cm out from the desk. There is roughly a 4.5cm gap between the underside of the table top & the top of the keyboard shelf. This can be adjusted slightly if you have a screwdriver & feel confident doing so. The keyboard shelf will be 40cm shorter than the length of the table. i.e, if the table size is 140cm long, the keyboard shelf will be 100cm long. NOTE: There needs to be 20cm (approx) gap at each end of the table between the end of the keyboard shelf & the end of the table top. This is so there is room for the keyboard brackets, the table braces & the table legs. i.e, If you want a table measuring 160cm in length, the keyboard shelf can't be 140cm long. Its maximum length would be 120cm long. (20cm left at each end of the table) LEGS The tabletop is supported by 4 x 71cm/ 28 inch hairpin legs (bare steel, or black colour), which are crafted from high quality, powder coated steel. These legs are incredibly strong & are more than capable of supporting any sized desk / table. I may be able to acquire other colours (polished copper, chrome etc), however this depends on being able to purchase them, stock levels etc. TABLE TOP DIMENSIONS Length 80 - 160cm Depth 44cm, 55cm, 66cm Height = 75cm Surface thickness = 30 - 35mm BESPOKE I'm more than happy to do bespoke pieces.
