Description This unique table lamp made of Red Gum wood veneer, is a part of the collection Astraeus.It is inspired by the ancient Greek divinity of dusk.The colours of light ,diffusing through the veneer create a kind of light that resembles the colours of dusk. The minimal design, the geometric form with the elegant curves make it suitable for many interior space, while the warm & soft light create a cozy atmosphere & a sense of tranquility. Its simplicity enables it to blend in with many different decoration styles & to fit in both home as well as work environments. Our meticulous selection of the materials & our experience in furniture making, work together to bring about the creation of quality products. Materials Our main material is veneer. The interaction of wood grain & the effect of lighting is the reason why we choose this unique material. We then adjust the right dimensions depending on the wood grain.We ensure durability to our products by binding two layers of veneer with specific glue. We responsibly choose our suppliers for veneer. Specifically we supplied by the Danzer.com company who is verified by FSC (forest stewardship council). Its partner in Greece & our local supplier is the company Woodplus.gr Please note that the veneer of the lamp you will receive may differ slightly from the one in the photo, due the unique pattern of the woodgrain. If you want we can send you a photo of the veneer that we will use for your lamp. The wax based varnish coating we use provides protection from dust & humidity, accenting the wood grain. All the electrical components are CE certified & are available at both: USA/Canada 110V and, UK/Europe/Australia 220V-240V.We highly recommend led lamps from 8W to 20W.(not included) The metallic base (4mm thick) with wooden frame provides stability to the product enhancing the wood structure. A layer of transparent varnish for metals protects it from oxidation. Finally the packaging consists of a durable eco-friendly box which ensures safe shipping.
