Wine Barrel Coffee Table Natural

Made from a real used barrique barrel in which wine was stored in France for around three to five years, this wine barrel coffee table is something very special. The high-quality & robust oak wood gives the piece of furniture stability & elegance at the same time. Each barrel has its own story, which is evident in scratches, red wine stains & signs of wear on the wood. The fine red wine smell that emanates from the freshly opened barrel disappears after a few days & is then no longer noticeable in the room. When the coffee table is made, the barrel wood & rings are sanded down. This removes coarse dirt & splinters so that there is no risk of injury. The rings are then screwed firmly to the barrel so that they stay in place even when the wood dries out. For further stability, the individual barrel staves are clamped together under the rings & inside the barrel. However, over time, small gaps can form between the staves because the wood continues to work & change.
