Mass: The table is 44.5 cm high. The tabletop has a diameter of 45 cm. The legs of this table were repurposed from a school chair dating back to the 1960s. These chairs are now rare, & especially rare to find in usable condition. Some were used for decades & therefore have their own unique history. The chair was first disassembled & then refurbished. It was roughly sanded to remove the old varnish, followed by several fine sandings. Finally, the legs were painted orange. The tabletop consists of a multiplex panel coated with furniture linoleum. Furniture linoleum is made from renewable raw materials: linseed oil, resins, wood, limestone flour, & natural color pigments. Therefore, the material is particularly environmentally friendly. It does not harm the environment during production or disposal, as it is biodegradable at the end of its long lifespan. Thanks to its natural raw materials, Desktop is a CO-neutral surface material. Furniture linoleum is robust & easy to care for, but should only be wiped with water or natural cleaning agents.
