Bring the serenity of Mediterranean summers & their relaxed lifestyle to your home. This armchair is inspired by the model designed by the Catalan architect & designer Josep Torres Clav with the GATCPAC collective (Group of Catalan Architects & Technicians for the Progress of Contemporary Architecture) & produced by MIDVA (Furniture & Decoration for Contemporary Housing) in 1936. Its structure is made of beech wood, & the seat & back are made of hand-knotted rope according to a traditional process. Made in a workshop with limited production. Inspired by traditional Ibizan chairs, this piece reflects the author's intellectual concerns in a challenging historical context. Torres Clave String Armchair
