Wine Barrel Coffee Table Oiled - Half Wine

This oiled wine barrel coffee table is an unusual oak creation that you don't see every day. Made from a real French barrique barrel that was used to store red wine for around three to five years, the coffee table still has a hint of red wine around it (not noticeable in the room itself for long). The oiled piece of furniture is characterized by stability & quality, as well as its usability both indoors & outdoors. Oak is a robust & high-quality material that enhances any living space with its warm color & individual grain. Typical features such as red wine stains & scratches are deliberately left on the barrel so that you can continue to see its history. Careful processing is a hallmark of our barrel forge, which is why there is no longer any risk of injury after sanding, deburring & reconditioning the barrel. All staves are clamped together under the rings. However, the wood may change over time & gaps may appear between the individual staves. Oiling brings out the intensive coloring & grain of the wood & at the same time protects the barrel against the effects of the weather. However, when using the barrel outdoors, it should be noted that it will turn grey more quickly in rain & sun & the surface will change. To counteract this, the coffee table should be treated with wood oil once a year.
