This table not only looks particularly unusual, but is also practical. The large oak table top offers space for decorations, magazines, etc. & can be folded out when needed. There is storage space underneath inside the barrel. Oak wood is very high quality & robust. It is therefore also used for wine barrels, in which red wine is then aged for three to five years. in our workshop, the wine barrels are then given a second use. We make sure that the products do not lose their natural charm, which is expressed through the fine, characteristic imperfections (scratches, dents, etc.). The inside of the barrel is also an intense red color & smells slightly of red wine. However, this smell disappears after a few days. The large oak table top on top offers plenty of storage space for all sorts of things. During production, we sand down all the wooden surfaces & the rings. This removes coarse dirt & splinters. The individual barrel staves are carefully clamped together & the rings are fixed with an adhesive so that the barrel stays in its shape. However, gaps may still form between the individual staves as the wood moves. The table top is also made of oak & is fixed to the table structure with solid angles. It can be opened & kept open with a wooden strip. The table rests on two solid wooden feet. All surfaces are treated with a neutral oil so that the grain is even more clearly visible & the table is also better protected against moisture.
