This is an English hand-made seagrass trunk 57 cm wide x 40 deep c 50 high & in excellent condition. The lift-up lid reveals an interior which is lined in dark blue cotton material & so it is nice & clean & fresh inside. It is only about 10 years old & was craftsman made in England - it has been in storage & never used so it is absolutely ready to use. It would be ideal as an end table, toy box or just a trunk for keeping bits you want out of the way. It is strong & heavy & has wood slats & brass mounts & a brass central cartouche on the top so it could be engraved as a gift. Also ideal as a bedside or lamp table. It has 3 stripes, yellow, green & red over the top, quite decorative I think.
