Pleated linen window curtains, carefully handmade from medium-weight natural linen fabric. Choose from unlined, privacy-lined, or blackout curtain options. CURTAIN WIDTH (enter personalization note): - one single curtain, 53/135cm wide. OR - two 26/67cm wide/each curtain panels. - pencil pleat top. color in the pictures - wine. natural 100% linen fabric ~200gsm. small white hooks (removable) are included. curtain rings are not included. Hang your curtains with either combination: hooks on rings (on a rod) or hooks on gliders (on a track). Curtain width is measured at the top, after the pleats. Curtain length measured from the top of the curtain to the bottom hem - the curtains will sit just below your curtain rings or gliders. Loops for hooks are placed 1/2.5cm, 1.5/3.5cm, & 2.2/5.5cm from the top of the curtain so you can choose which loop height works best & adjust the length of the curtain. If you would like the panel to pool on the floor, add 2-6/5-15cm to the length. Curtains wider than 26/66cm are made with a vertical seam. LINING OPTIONS: UNLINED CURTAINS // Curtains made of medium-weight linen fabric are not sheer, therefore allowing a bit of privacy. Unlined curtains have a natural look of linen & are recommended as day curtains for the living room, main bedroom, or kitchen. CURTAINS LINED WITH PRIVACY LINING // Thin privacy lining boosts the opacity of the curtain & blocks some light. The lined curtain fabric is not see-through, therefore it allows quite much privacy. Recommended where full light blocking is not necessary (living room, bathroom, kitchen). BLACKOUT CURTAINS // Thick & heavy professional blackout lining provides good insulation to the window, reduces external noise, & blocks a lot of light. Blackout curtains are recommended where room darkening & full privacy are needed (main bedroom, children's bedroom, or media rooms). Lining offers several benefits: it provides fullness & a professional finish to window treatments. Lining a curtain panel offers more insulation to the room & protects the curtain from fading. The lining also makes varied window curtains look uniform from the exterior of the home, maintaining the natural look & beauty of linen from the inside. We use great quality, white color, professional blackout, & privacy linings, 100% polyester. Please note that our blackout lining color is a slight grey tone, because of the dark threads which are woven through the fabric. The threads are necessary for proper insulation & light-blocking properties. This means that the blackout lining may slightly affect the color of off-white & white color linen curtains. Linen curtains care: lined (privacy or blackout) curtains - dry clean only. unlined curtains - dry clean recommended. The unlined curtains can also be washed - handwash or delicate machine wash with similar colors - do not bleach - hang to dry - do not iron to maintain a beautiful wrinkled texture & natural look - if needed, iron warm while the fabric is still damp, or steam when the curtains are up - enjoy! We use pre-shrunk linen fabric, but it still might shrink a little during the first washes - if you will be washing the curtains at home, we suggest adding 4-5% to the length for shrinkage.
