A hardworking, robust two door cabinet originally intended as a shoe storage cupboard. The shelves can be adjusted in height or removed to suit your needs & the sturdy construction allows the cabinet to be used as a seat while putting your shoes on. Handmade to order by me in my workshop with techniques including Mortise & Tenon joinery, this example has been painted Antique White to a high standard with a satin type paint (main image). An attractive addition to any entryway, living room or dining room my furniture arrives fully built & ready to use straight away. All of the finish options are treated with a light coat of shellac prior to a traditional wax finish. The shellac seals the wood allowing the wax to really work its magic which enhances the grain, protects the surface & leaves subtle sheen that is smooth to the touch.
