Davies & Foster proudly present this handmade Solid Oak Monks Bench / Boot & Coat Room Cabinet Featuring shoe storage behind doors (soft close), slatted back, & a generous space for 7 coats. Made from a combination of solid oak & real wood veneer, this unit will be a real talking point when someone enters your home. Ideally positioned in a hallway, but equally at home in a kitchen or open plan living space. To make your monks bench unique, we are able to spray finish the doors & back (between the oak slats) in any colour you would like. Most people pick from the Farrow & Ball colour pallet, but if you have something in mind that is more specific, either send us the paint details (brand & colour) or alternatively a RAL number. All the oak in this piece is finished in OSMO oil, which brings out the grain, & provides years of protection. This is also easy to apply should you wish to re-oil your unit in years to come. As this is a made to order item, if you would like to make adjustments to the size, please get in touch. We make everything in house in our Chester based workshop, & we specialise in cabinet & furniture making, so changes to dimensions can easily be accommodated. Handles have not been included, as we have found people like to pick their own. We do however install your chosen handles on the day of delivery (see below). We also have an in house designer should you wish to discuss handles, as the choice can be quite overwhelming! As this is a handmade piece, this will be delivered & installed by us. Delivery & installation has been included within the price. This includes assembly of the unit in your home, fixing it to the wall with a bracket at the top of the unit, & installing your chosen handles. This really is a lovely piece.
