Some hides will also vary in curl & thickness because no two hides are the same. For orders of more than 1 quantity, we select matching & consistent hides from the batch. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic & publishing processes will allow, we endeavour to show an accurate indication of the tone. It is advisable to test the level of colour fastness of the leather you are intending to use in order to ensure it is suitable for its end use as we cannot accept any liability for colour transfer onto other materials. Each skin is unique, which makes the material extra interesting to work with. The wool's ability to absorb moisture leads to reduced friction, among other things. A further advantage is that the wool does not attract dust or dirt to itself, in contrast with synthetic materials. It is easy to keep clean & can be cleaned by hand or by machine.
