Exotic Wood Chess Table Handmade Craftsman Style Game Table

This gorgeous, one-of-kind craftsman hardwood chess table is constructed from solid, handpicked hardwoods & precision finished to every detail. The handmade wooden game table is built in the classic mission (craftsman) style & spared no detail. Each table features exotic woods, tapered legs, a felt-lined, hand-carved dovetailed drawer, edge inlay decorative design around the drawer, handcrafted wooden drawer slides, premium joinery including dovetail & mortise & tenon, & a large, competition sized (2 1/4 squares) chessboard top featuring a wide 2 3/4 border, stand approximately 28 tall, & each table top is approximately 23 1/4 x 23 1/4. The tables stand an overall height of approximately 28 tall. Each table is different in it's own right & currently have six of these to offer, all listed separately: This premium table is built with a wenge & tiger maple gaming surface, trimmed with a gorgeous wenge border, sapelle sides, cherry back, & wenge drawer featuring a handcrafted maple & cherry decorative edge inlay, & solid maple legs with walnut socks. Finished with two coats teak oil, followed by two coats of semi-gloss polyurethane, followed but two hand-rubbed application's of protective furniture polish. The drawer pull is a large handmade hard maple & Gaboon ebony knob. Absolutely gorgeous. I built these tables so that they have a nice wide border for expired game pieces and/or a playing clock, & the tables sit at a comfortable gaming height (28 tall). The table tops are positioned on the table so that chess is played from the sides of the table & checkers from the front & back. I added a nice finishing touch by fabricating handcrafted exotic wood drawer pulls. I put a lot of time & effort into these little pieces of art & am sure they will serve well for the function they were built for.
