This is a faithful reproduction of an original blanket used at the foot of the bed in Victorian times to store unused bedding & candles. Made using sustainably sourced joinery grade Norwegian Redwood Pine. The joints are dovetailed, as an original, & the hinged lid, supported by an adjustable stay, is edged with a semi-round beading. As at home in the hall way for shoe storage or in front of the sofa as a coffee table, as it is in the bedroom for extra winter duvets & blankets.
