Solid Oak 'Meillion' Media unit - Handmade in Wales This unit combines the clean lines of a mid century style credenza with the natural live edge across the drawer fronts. Made from a single slab, the live edge drawer fronts conceal the shelf behind to highlight the natural edge & contrast the formal & minimalist cabinet. This cabinet is constructed with a mitred edge, waterfall technique for continuous grain alignment across the top & sides of the unit, complimenting the grain matching across the drawer fronts. To retain the natural appearance of the slab, we have used concealed cabinet hinges with 'tip on' technology for a superb quality push to open function plus integrated soft close. The upper shelf space has internal supports that are recessed from the front edge. This ensures excellent strength for supporting large items such as widescreen TV's but gives an open fronted, modern appearance. This feature also makes the recess perfect for soundbars if used as a TV unit. The cabinet is matched with rounded, splayed legs in matching Oak for that elegant mid century look.
