Its one of my more time consuming projects, but totally worth it for the special little one in your life! It measures 50 x 40 which is a perfect size for an infant playmat or for a toddler to snuggle up with. It can also be made to hang on the wall of your nursery or playroom. This is a great learning tool for teaching your child the alphabet & colors - BONUS! Each individual letter is hand-stitched in its square, then the blanket is machine-quilted & hand-tied at the corners of each square. Babies love vibrant colors & the hand stitching provides a bit of texture for their little hands. Some Moms love more subtle tones to compliment the living room or match the nursery. Either way, I always love the end result! I usually choose soft cotton or flannel fabrics but it can be made with any material & in any color(s) of your choosing! Embroidery Available upon request at $1 per letter. Care Instructions: Machine washable in cold water/gentle cycle - line or tumble dry on low heat.
