Ammonite Fused Glass Soap Dish 13x10cm - 5x4

This handcrafted fused glass soap dish has a coloured ammonite texture on a clear background, the colours go gradually from blue to turquoise. The soap tray is slightly curved with a spout for the water to drain, it is textured on the top & smooth on the underside. This handmade little fossil dish can make a great present in a beach themed house, in a bathroom. It can be mainly used a soap holder in a shower or kitchen, but can also be used for jewellery on a bedside table or for keys in an entryway. METHOD We use clear glass & coloured powdered glass, each piece is fused in a kiln once or twice at temperatures over 800C. We hand-carve our own moulds for texture & our own templates for colours that we apply manually each time. Please be aware that due to the handmade process, each product is uniquely different so you can expect a slight variation in size, glass tint/colour & texture.
