This panoramic soothing frame illustrates a seaside scenery of a beach scene with the sea in turquoise & the beach in white/beige, the sky with blue with seagulls using low relief, colours & various processes to accentuate the motion of the sea. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent. The texture is applied to the back of the glass panel creating shadows to the smooth front which would suit a living room, entryway or office in a coastal themed home. Matthew designs & makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually & the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C & annealed to ensure strength & durability. The frame is ready to hang on the wall with a wire across the back, it is a good quality wooden frame in white with a grainy effect.
