The wood is finished with high quality wax for a durable & smooth finish. All wood used has been sourced from a local seller before being pressure washed (to remove any dirt trapped in the grain of the wood), dried, sanded & finished to your chosen option. Wood finishes: The finish may slightly differ to that in the photo. This is due to natural variation in the colour of the wood. in addition to this, each piece of wood differs, including knots, grain, lettering, branding, imperfections, warping, cupping etc. slight wood movement once placed in the home may occur. Reclaimed wood: Splits may develop over time as the wood acclimatises, this is normal with reclaimed wood & is not considered to be damage/defected.
