Wine Barrel Wide Stave 3 Silver Mercury Glass Votive Candle Holder in Earth Stain

In a past life, this votive candle holder was an Ontario & Niagara region fine oak wine barrel, beautifully stained by fabulous red wine on the inside. Once the barrels are taken apart, the individual wood slats, called staves, can be re-imagined into many items. This stave is one of the rarer ones in the barrel which is extra wide, 4 inches to be precise! I thought it would lend itself so well to a larger votive candle holder, & then decided to make it even more special & unique by adding some glitter in the form of mercury glass silver votive holders. There is also a section of the original wine barrel strap attached to one end to further remind you of it's origins. This candle holder comes with 3 mercury glass votive cups & candles, & the size can also be used for tealights if you choose. It is finished with an earth-friendly water-based stains in Earth (espresso brown). Approximate size is 19 inches long by 4 inches wide.
