A pale to mid grey linen is used to make this lampshade to order. The texture of the fabric is enhanced when the shade is illuminated adding character & interest. Ceiling lampshades come with the option of adding a diffuser, this is a translucent polypropylene disc which sits on the lower rim of the shade. It lets plenty of light through but hides the bulb, allowing the eye to focus on the shade itself. They give a smart professional finish, particularly useful for the larger shades & high ceilings or in a nursery where you want to lessen glare. Very easy to fit & remove for cleaning. N.B. cheaper to buy with the shade rather than separately. There may be variations in colour from photograph to monitor, but I have tried to show as accurately as possible.
