Designed originally to be used as a bird feeder, some of our customers buy this item to use as a bird bath if you would like to use for this purpose please ensure that you add this information to your order & we will endeavour to send a bowl that is water tight. as with all of our metal these are coated with varnish we would recommend that they are re coated with a varnish every 6 months if used as a feeder & every 2 - 3 months if used as a bird bath. This item is a 2 piece item, the bowl is detachable from stick. The photos are for illustration purposes only, you will receive a similar item to the one in the photo. Each of these products are handcrafted from recycled steel such as oil drums, cars & old white goods amongst other things. Some items may have holes in the steel from the previous purpose that it was used for or age, it will be solid & last for many years. There may also be blemishes or some colour on the steel this enhances the product & shows it truly is a recycled one off piece & doesn't detract from its beauty. If you would like us to try & find a piece without colour on it please say so in the notes section. We are happy for you to return any item at your cost if you are not happy with the colour etc but this is not classed as a fault so we are unable to cover the cost.
