Whisky Barrel Log Store - Handmade Reclaimed Oak Firewood Holder Rustic Basket Wood Burner Storage Bespoke Scottish Furniture

???? Whisky Barrel Log Store - Handmade from a Real Whisky Barrel Looking for something a little different to store your logs & kindling? You've come to the right place. At Barrel Built Designs, I take genuine whisky barrels & give them a new lease of life, transforming them into unique handmade log stores that look fantastic beside a wood burner, open fire, fireplace or outdoor fire. This isn't a mass-produced log basket. Every one is handmade to order & completely unique. The barrel is cut from the centre of a genuine whisky barrel, carefully sanded back & finished with wax to bring out the natural character, colour & grain of the reclaimed oak. The original barrel hoops & stave markings are retained wherever possible, giving every log store its own individual character. ???? Practical as well as good looking The design incorporates a central oak stave shelf, giving you a dedicated space for kindling underneath your main log storage area. Perfect for keeping your firewood, logs & kindling organised & close to the fire, while adding a proper bit of rustic whisky-barrel character to your room. A great addition to: Wood burners Log burners Open fireplaces Fireplaces Living rooms Garden rooms Man caves Cottages Outdoor fire areas ???? Standard size Approximately: 600mm wide x 600mm high x 400mm deep All measurements are approximate because I'm working with real reclaimed whisky barrels, not perfectly uniform manufactured timber. Need a different size? No problem. I can make these to almost any depth from approximately 300mm-420mm, depending on the barrel available. If you've got a specific space you're trying to fill, send me your measurements before ordering & I'll do my best to accommodate them. ???? Every one is different Because these are made from genuine reclaimed whisky barrels, no two log stores will ever be identical. The final appearance will vary depending on: The size & type of barrel Natural oak grain & colour Previous barrel markings The position of the original metal hoops Character marks & imperfections The individual shape of the barrel These aren't imperfections they're part of the story of the wood. ???? Reclaimed whisky barrel furniture I love taking something that has already had a life storing whisky & turning it into something useful again. The result is a rustic, characterful & genuinely one-off piece of reclaimed oak furniture. & yes... there may even be a little bit of whisky history hiding in the wood. ???? A note about reclaimed oak Oak is a natural material & will continue to move slightly as the temperature & humidity change. As your log store sits beside a fire or wood burner, some natural expansion & contraction of the oak staves & metal bands is completely normal. This movement is part of working with genuine reclaimed barrel wood & adds to the character of each piece. ???? Made to order Every Barrel Built Designs log store is made to order in my workshop in Scotland. If you have a particular size, finish or idea in mind, drop me a message before ordering. If you've got an idea, I'll do my best to build it. Whisky Barrel Log Store - Handmade Reclaimed Oak Firewood Holder Rustic Basket Wood Burner Storage Bespoke Scottish Furniture
