Our Cloud Dreamer Velvet Upholstered Bed has a soft, billowy aesthetic that will breathe fresh air into your home. The headboard and footboard are upholstered in the softest cloud velvet, trimmed with an intricate cloud-like patterned embroidery, set against the cloud-toned velvet. The combination creates a calming influence for quiet reflection and a place where function and feeling intertwine to build an atmosphere of serenity and spaciousness. The gentle curvature of the bed's luxuriously deep headboard and footboard create a silhouette that is both elegant and inviting. Nestled between the embroidered trim and the sumptuous velvet is a piped beading in a textured wide-weave ivory cotton. The bed has been designed with a low footboard to place emphasis on the luxurious headboard. The deep side rails are fully upholstered in the same soft velvet. On the interior of the bed frame the slats are thoughtfully part-covered with a velvet 'modesty panel' ensuring the slats won't be seen should your mattress move slightly. The supersoft velvet upholstery is an easycare polyester blend velvet, known for its excellent stain resistance qualities - great for keeping little sticky fingers at bay! For assembly, the 6 inch wide solid wooden slats are simply placed upon the internal side rails, alternatively they can be screwed into position using the pilot holes, should you wish. This bed has been designed by our in-house design team and handmade in the UK by skilled craftsman in a factory specialising in beds since the early 1920s. It is finished with tapered and fluted feet that match our Gustavian Collections, so this bed pairs perfectly with the myriad items from those collections.
