you are viewing one of my favorite beach scenes I do with a bamboo back-drop. There are over 60 bamboo strips in a 12 1/4 inch diameter & the outer circumference is 16 inches. The metal was cut & hammered for shape. The palm trees were cut, hammered, & shaped. The palms were painted in several layers & peeled in areas to give it the look it has. the beach scene is painted with a variety of blues, yellow, gray, gold, brown, sage. I have a tinting process with stains & metallic paints I mix to get certain textures & colors. The piece has been treated with a clear semi gloss sealer. It wood be safe on a lanai, porch, patio. The edges of the inner & outer have been secured by metal rings. This piece has been distressed, it is not perfect, it has nicks & chips.
