A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the rug ""bursts"" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove the fluff as much as possible by hand and do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode as this has the effect of pulling the fibres and tearing them off.
