EDL industries Ltd manufactured factory task lamps from the 1930s to the middle of the century. This very desirable 'Bandit' model has slimmer arms & shade than the bulkier standard units. Originally designed to be wall, bench or machine mounted, this particular example is available either as a repurposed desk lamp (fixed to a heavy felt lined steel base) or as a wall mounted light. The lamp has been stripped to component parts, thoroughly cleaned, reassembled & rewired with 3 core fabric braided cable. It is fitted with a high quality MK safety plug & PAT tested. Each of the 3 arms are 23cm long & the base has a diameter of 15cm. Note: - the quoted price is for the lamp complete with steel base (table lamp configuration).
