Araar is a type of cedar that only grows in Morocco & has a wonderful fragrance when the pen box is opened. The box is made of solid wood. It is finished with french polish. This box comes with two pens, also crafted in araar wood. They have replaceable refills. Araar only grows in Morocco, in the Atlas Mountains, & the wood from the trunk is used but also the beautiful patterns come from the root of the tree as you can see on the top of the item.
