This beautiful traditional solid wood bookcase measures 3ft high by 8ft wide & features six fully adjustable shelves, offering both practicality & timeless style. It forms part of our growing collection of handcrafted bookcases, each individually made in our own joinery workshop using quality materials & traditional craftsmanship, while maintaining excellent value for money. Designed with convenience in mind, this bookcase is constructed in modular, ready-made sections, making it easier to maneuver into your home. It is then quickly & professionally assembled on-site by our delivery team. ITEM SPECIFICS Dimensions 915mm High 2440mm Wide 305mm Deep (Shelf Depth: 250mm) All dimensions are nominal & include any decorative overhangs & overall footprint measurements. Craftsmanship & Quality Each piece is individually handmade to order in our UK workshop by experienced, time-served craftsmen using 100% solid, slow-grown Scandinavian Redwood Pine. Built using traditional joinery methods, our furniture is designed to provide many years of reliable service & enjoyment. Style & Design This bookcase is shown in our popular Traditional style, featuring decorative moulded edges & fluted columns for a timeless, classic appearance. For a more contemporary look, it is also available in our Contemporary (Shaker/Modern) style, with clean flat-cut edges & plain upright columns (see accompanying images). Adjustable Shelving: All shelves are fully adjustable using a traditional dog-tooth shelf support system, renowned for its strength, reliability, & versatility (see accompanying images). This robust design allows each shelf to be repositioned in 20mm increments, giving you complete flexibility to customise the layout & accommodate books, ornaments, collectibles, & display items of varying heights. Alternative shelf configurations can also be specified upon request. Colour & Finish Options The example shown is finished in our popular Antique Brown Wax. A wide range of alternative colour & finish options are available (see images). If you're undecided, we are happy to send complimentary real wood finish samples before you place your order. This design is also available in unfinished bare wood (ITW), ideal for customers wishing to apply their own paint, stain, or wax finish at home. Delivery dates are usually arranged approximately one week in advance while your order is being completed. On the day of delivery, we will contact you when we are approximately 30 minutes away. As deliveries are undertaken by a single crew member, assistance may be required to help move larger items into your property. Delivery Area: UK Mainland only.
