Our handcrafted wooden bench is made from carefully selected reclaimed wood, preserving the beautiful marks, grain, knots & imperfections created over time. Its clean, rustic design works beautifully as a dining table bench, but also makes a perfect hallway, entryway or kitchen bench. With a depth of just 29cm, it offers comfortable seating without taking up unnecessary space ideal for both smaller interiors & generous country homes. Every bench is individually handmade in our small workshop. No mass production. No two pieces are ever the same. This is part of what makes every AGGDAN piece unique. THE BEAUTY OF RECLAIMED WOOD We believe the marks left by time are something to celebrate, not hide. Knots, old nail holes, saw marks, cracks, dents, grain variations & changes in texture may all be present in your bench. We carefully sand & prepare the wood while intentionally preserving its original character. These natural features are not defects they are an essential part of reclaimed furniture & mean that your bench will be completely individual. Because our furniture is handmade rather than mass produced, we take the time needed to make each piece properly. NATURAL WOOD MOVEMENT Solid wood is a natural material & continues to respond to its environment throughout its life. Changes in temperature & humidity can cause subtle movement, expansion or contraction. Small cracks or changes in the timber may therefore develop naturally over time. This is normal for solid reclaimed wood & forms part of its authentic character. PLEASE NOTE The photographs show examples of our work. Because every piece of reclaimed wood has its own grain, markings, texture & history, your bench will not be identical to the one photographed. Screen settings & lighting conditions may also cause colours to appear slightly different.
