Originally popular during the golden age of Mid-Century Modern design, this timeless piece has been re imagined for today while honouring the spirit of the originals. This listing marks the launch of an exciting new range by By-Royale, proudly manufactured in rural Lincolnshire using our own Royalexe High Pressure Laminate & produced on our in-house machinery. Every table is individually handmade to order with meticulous attention to detail. A Superior Modern Heirloom The original East German kidney tables & plant stands were mass-produced using low-grade chipboard with a high content of formaldehyde, the level of which is now banned in the production of furniture due to health hazards. We have carefully upgraded the materials whilst preserving authentic Mid-Century styling creating a far more durable, heirloom-quality piece designed to last for generations. Our Materials 2mm Royalexe High Pressure Laminate Securely glued & pressed at 20-tons pressure to 15mm high-quality European Produced Birch Ply substrate the underside is finished in a matt black water based stain. Available in 12 Classic Mid Century colours The distinctive Naug Pattern is consistent across every colour option Authentic 1950s Gold extruded edge banding. We have taken exceptional care to replicate the charm of the era: Solid Teakwood tapered legs Finished in Glossy Black Lacquer Secured with solid wood threaded brackets far stronger & more stable than modern metal plates Completed with Gold-tone plated ferrules & self-levelling swivel feet, just like the original 1950s designs Dimensions Width: 60 cm (24 inches) Depth: 32 cm (12 inches) Height: 47 cm (18 inches) Perfect as a plant stand, side table, or a statement accent piece.
