Liberty Collier Campbell Cote d'Azure vintage early 80s, blue, red & green cotton cushion cover, throw pillow cover, homeware decor. Hand sewn cushion cover sewn from a piece of cotton chintz Cote d'Azure designed by sisters Susan Collier & Sarah Campbell for the Swiss manufacturer Christian Fischbacher & sold in Liberty in the UK. A sample of this iconic design is in the Victoria & Albert Museum's archives. ... It incorporates palm trees, silhouettes of birds in flight, balustrades, dotted & striped areas & lattices carried out in clear 'Mediterranean colours - green, yellow, ochre, pink, black & bright 'Matisse' blue. It is drawn in a free painterly manner & is reminiscent of the Matisse style. ( quote from the V & A website. ) It has been piped in a matching blue cotton & lined in beige linen. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength. There is a concealed zip underneath the piping for ease of opening. Dry clean only. Design placement will vary. Also not all of the covers will have a dove as there are only a couple in each design drop. If you purchase two only one will probably have a dove. Please see the second image for a sample without the dove. I can custom make this design in your own personal choice of a different coloured piping. Colours available : Red, apple green, dark green, hot pink, dark pink, cream, beige, gold, turquoise, light blue, royal blue, purple, black & grey. Just please message me with your requirements.
