The first option is blackout lining. This completely blocks the sun & provides insulation from outside weather. Blackout lining is recommended for bedrooms. The second option is cotton lining. This provides added protection & a finished look to your curtains, but does not completely block out the sun. Cotton lining is recommended as a general finish to any curtain.
