This mid century style TV stand or coffee table is a solid wood minimalist mid century modern design made from solid walnut with classic mid century style black hairpin legs. Its proportions make it ideal to use as a media unit but it also works well as a bench, side table or coffee table. The height of the opening also makes it ideal for housing larger media equipment, books & 7 vinyl records. We make this design in the UK from beautiful solid American black walnut, which has a wonderful depth of character & a unique grain pattern, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. You can expect to get a truly unique piece of furniture with character & unpredictable variation in the grain. The timber is sanded to a smooth finish & treated with a hard wearing natural sheen lacquer finish that gives it a super smooth, contemporary feel. Solid walnut is a beautiful wood that is usually only used as a veneer because it's so expensive, but if you want to invest in a solid piece of furniture with a unique grain pattern & character then it's a definite choice!
